When first born, Jonni' s fingers were found to have no joint after the knuckle. His parents thought this may disadvantage him for the rest of his life. It has only recently become clear that Jonni is the evolutionary proto-type for a new kind of bassist. The missing joint enables him to have more strength in the mid finger providing further pace and efficiency.
